Location: Columbus, OH
Key Responsibilities- In conjunction with senior staff, licensed engineers, and other junior staff assist with the design and preparation of a variety of residential site development projects throughout the Midwest.
- Coordinate with fellow MSG staff across a variety of service sectors including:
Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, Site Construction, etc. - Perform and check various design calculations related to creating a design package.
- Prepare front‑end feasibility documents, due diligence reports, zoning studies, storm‑water modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed design plans.
- Occasional day‑travel and field work may be required and coordinated in advance.
- Other additional tasks as needed, at the direction of supervisor and other senior staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2‑5 years of related experience specializing in residential development.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- EIT certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months, with a clear path toward PE licensure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a vibrant, multi‑faceted team environment.
- Motivated and flexible; roles and responsibilities may change rapidly.
