Temporary (Fixed Term)

Flexible up to 28 hours for students taking classes and up to 38 hours during summer or academic breaks.

Varying shifts

• Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement.
• May coordinate activities for other student employees.
• Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment.
• Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role.
• Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
• The student assistant will support educational programming and community engagement in Wayne County, Ohio.
• The student will work directly with Extension professionals and staff who lead efforts to address community based issues.
• The student will support 4‑H Youth Development programs designed for youth and adult audiences.
• Assist with preparing educational materials, conducting community based programs and participate in professional and public meetings.
