Job Title: Undergraduate Nursing Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator

The Undergraduate Nursing Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinator serves as a key representative of The Ohio State University College of Nursing, providing advanced operational support for recruitment and admissions processes for undergraduate nursing students. This role executes established recruitment workflows, maintains customer relationship management (CRM) and application data, coordinates events, and serves as a primary contact for prospective students. The position ensures effective communication, efficient processing, and a positive experience throughout the admissions pipeline.
This is a full‑time position that requires maintenance of office hours at the College of Nursing (CON) during the business week.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective undergraduate students, providing a high level of customer support throughout the admissions process.
- Generate a positive impression of the College of Nursing for applicants by offering assistance, working to minimize obstacles, and providing timely responses to questions or problems that arise.
- Provide information, answer routine questions, and ensure accurate documentation of prospective student interactions at Undergraduate Admissions events, including table fairs and traveling to in‑state and out‑of‑state programs.
- Assist with the management of prospective student emails and phone messages.
- Provide admissions status updates to internal stakeholders and ensure accurate and timely information flow based on established procedures.
- Monitor the application progress and advance candidates through the recruitment pipeline.
- Maintain undergraduate student data using the CRM and application data to improve recruitment outcomes.
- Co‑manage Student Ambassadors with the academic deans and student affairs team to answer routine questions at college events.
- Coordinate logistics for recruitment and yield events, including scheduling, room reservations, event set‑up, and registration for open houses and overview sessions.
- Develop relationships with colleagues from across campus by attending committee meetings as a CON representative at Undergraduate Admissions and College Outreach Group (COG) meetings and events that include on‑campus and off‑campus undergraduate recruitment activities.
- Engage with students and families through email communication, phone calls, Zoom meetings, and campus visits.
- Participate in CON events such as convocation and lighting of the lamp.
- Maintain office hours in the College of Nursing during the business week.
High school diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate’s degree in a relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required; 4–6 years of relevant experience preferred.
