This position is located in Allen County, Lima, OH.
The 4-H Extension Educators Coordinator 1 will work under the direction of the 4-H Youth Development Program to provide support to a comprehensive program. This employment is intermittent. May have periods of inactivity and need of up to 24 hours/week to support high demand for program needs.
During high demand times, duties for this position include: preparing for and helping with 4‑H project judging at the county level; assisting with Allen County 4‑H camp planning; providing assistance to the 4‑H Youth Development Educator and the Allen County Fair, and all components of pre‑fair activity such as: assisting with Jr. Fair entries, show preparations, pre‑fair communications, and other fair duties as assigned.
During lesser demand times: the 4‑H Extension Educators Coordinator 1 will provide support for all other 4‑H events and programs as needed throughout the rest of the year. These events may include junior fair board events, camp counselor trainings, volunteer trainings, school programs, etc. Other duties may include creating social media content and enrollment/recruitment campaign materials.
Schedule may be variable and include night and weekend meetings and/or events.
This position may also assist the Ag/ program areas in Allen County.
QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0‑2 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this job profile is $15.15 - $19.79 hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
