Provides coordination and support for graduate research courses and medical student rotations within the Department of Pathology. Works in partnership with faculty leadership and administrative staff to implement, monitor, and support educational offerings, program requirements, and learner activities. Ensures compliance with institutional standards while supporting the effective delivery of curriculum and program objectives.
This role works on projects of limited scope and complexity generally following set procedures and applies judgement within defined parameters.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned educational programs, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation of program activities.
- Develop, maintain, and modify learner rotation schedules and educational calendars in collaboration with program leadership.
- Manage evaluation processes, including distribution, collection, tracking, and reporting of learner and faculty evaluations.
- Maintain required files in accordance with department and college policy.
- Prepare materials and post on Carmen; ensure grade posting is done accurately and on time.
- Serve as a liaison between faculty, learners, departmental leadership, and internal or external partners.
- Track deadlines, requirements, and deliverables to ensure program objectives are met.
- Act as lead for planning the annual department research retreat and annual pathology update course offered to external pathologists.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
