Job Title
Lecturer (SEM)

Position OverviewProvide teaching support for the Department of Speech & Hearing Science. The Lecturer will teach SPHHRNG 6740 Fluency:
Theory and Treatment in Summer Semester 2026.
- Planning and organizing instruction in ways which maximize student learning.
- Meeting scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policy.
- Ensuring curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with departmental standards.
- Preparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student work in a timely manner to promote learning.
- Maintaining accurate records of students’ progress and submitting final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlines.
- Maintaining confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA.
- Planning and organizing instruction in ways which maximize student learning.

Master's Degree
AdditionalEducation Desired
Ph.D. preferred in Speech and Hearing Science in the field appropriate to the subject matter being taught.
QualificationsPrevious experience teaching in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science is required.
