Job Title: Lecturer
Department: Electrical and Computer Engineering (Engineering College)
Position OverviewThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is accepting a full-time Lecturer appointment to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department. Duties include curriculum/syllabus design, content and material development, teaching, and service activities. The selected candidate will provide support for developing and teaching undergrad and/or graduate students, depending on the chosen candidate’s degree certification. All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.
The Ohio State University will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

- PhD degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related area.
- Three to five years of teaching and/or industry related experience in the fields of Electrical or Computer Engineering or related areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to Ohio State’s Shared Values with demonstrated efforts in teaching.
