The most meaningful way to support a student who achieved 99% of their target is to maintain the standard and not call it complete. If this expectation feels uncomfortable, this position may not suit you. If it energizes you—because you understand that upholding high standards demonstrates your belief in a student's capacity to meet them—continue reading.
Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full academic day in approximately two hours using adaptive software. No classroom lectures. No traditional textbooks. Your responsibility centers on what technology cannot replicate: coaching students in life competencies including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange. You will facilitate interactive workshops, drive students toward mastering their learning targets, and develop relationships strong enough that a reserved fourth grader gains the confidence to present before a room of adults.
This position grows with you. During your first year, you lead a small student cohort and internalize Alpha's methodology: life skill workshops, motivational coaching, mastery-based evaluation. Once you demonstrate consistent ability to guide every student to 100% goal completion while maintaining satisfaction ratings above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes possible—a role where you mentor a team while remaining directly engaged with students.
Top performers in this role don't merely transform individual trajectories; they influence entire campus cultures.
Traditional schools don't offer this opportunity. If you've been coaching, counseling, or mentoring young people and wish you could eliminate instructional delivery to focus on their development, this role is that opportunity.
What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life competency workshops for K-12 students covering subjects such as public speaking, concentration, time management, and feedback literacy (experiential and project-oriented, never lecture-based)
- Conducting daily motivation check-ins where you engage individual students, analyze their performance in adaptive learning platforms (via Coachbot analytics), and challenge them to achieve 100% of their weekly targets
- Organizing and overseeing mastery-based assessments (Test2
Pass) to validate genuine skill acquisition, not mere attendance - Cultivating authentic connections with each student so they trust your guidance through moments of resistance, distraction, and uncertainty
- Monitoring student outcomes against satisfaction metrics and goal attainment data, refining your methods when performance doesn't meet expectations
- Presenting classroom lectures or providing conventional academic instruction (students acquire core content through independent adaptive applications, not through you)
- Creating lesson plans from the ground up (Alpha supplies life skills curriculum and implementation guides; your role is to execute them with enthusiasm and narrative skill)
- Handling parent communication or administrative duties (Campus Leads manage those functions; you concentrate on your students)
- Evaluating homework or coordinating standardized test preparation (these don't exist in this environment)
- Operating independently (you belong to a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and maintain mutual accountability)
Key Responsibilities
Guarantee that every student in your cohort finds joy in learning, develops critical life skills, and achieves 100% of their academic objectives through adaptive learning technology.
