Special Education Teacher – $50/hr – Columbus, OH – 13-Week Assignment Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher provides specialized academic and behavioral instruction to students in kindergarten through grade 12 under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. This educator collaborates with general education staff, supports IEP implementation, and delivers individualized instruction based on student needs.

Details of AssignmentCase load: 16 students
Intervention Specialist (IS) role
Supports academic, behavioral, and functional needs
Professional dress code (business casual)
Interview conducted via Teams
District provides classroom orientation on first day
Provide specialized instruction to assigned caseload
Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and administrators
Maintain documentation, progress reports, and service minutes
Communicate with families and participate in team meetings
Active Ohio teaching license (Intervention Specialist or equivalent)
Experience with intervention or special education preferred
CPR, TB screening, and health clearance if required
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
