- Student Services Coordinator
The Big Walnut Local School District seeks an outstanding educational leader to serve as Student Services Coordinator beginning in the 2026/2027 school year. This is a 220-day position with administrative benefits. The candidate should possess successful administrative experience, a thorough knowledge of student services curriculum, instruction, preschool programming, supervision, community, and an ability to lead adults in continuous improvement efforts. Coordinate the special education program for all special needs children in grade PreK through 12; direct the implementation of federal law and Ohio rules for education of special needs pupils; coordinate activities between the school district and outside agencies; attend meetings and in-services as required; responsible for reviewing cases pertaining to the alternative placement of students as well as students receiving either the Jon Peterson or Autism Scholarship;
serve as district representative at ETR and IEP meetings; and, evaluate professional staff within the Student Services Department.
