Position Overview
The position for the Senior Lecturer (12 month) has the equivalent of 10 courses per academic year, depending on assigned supervision and administrative work. Responsibilities will include maintaining or modifing course content in CANVAS, providing timely feedback and grades on student assignments, holding weekly office hours, communicating with and supporting students being alert to those falling behind. Teaching assignments in the program may involve introductory, intermediate, or advanced graduate courses, and also include Distance or online courses and curriculum development as the demands of course registration and scheduling may require.
It also assists in supervising field placements. The individual will attend program and department faculty meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.

Performance ObjectivesThe individual in the Senior Lecturer position in the Special Education ABA Program is expected to:
- demonstrate excellence in teaching online courses
- successfully supervising students, specifically during field placements
- demonstrate skill in measuring behavior and identifying and implementing evidence-based practices
- demonstrate familiarity with relevant accreditation and licensure requirements
- consistently attending and contributing to program and department faculty meetings
- consistently engage in ongoing professional development
Required :
PhD in Special Education or relevant discipline, completed by Date of Hire
Required :
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential with expertise in ABA and experience in supervising students interested in the BCBA.
