The Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position. This role is intended for architects and designers with demonstrated experience in architectural design education and/or practice, and aligns with the School’s commitment to design excellence, critical thinking, and rigorous studio‑based learning as the foundation of architectural education. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate design studios.
In addition, the candidate will be expected to engage collaboratively with faculty and students and contribute to the pedagogical and intellectual life of the School. All teaching activities are conducted in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio State University will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

- Master of Architecture (M.Arch) or equivalent professional degree in architecture.
- Demonstrated experience working within architectural design studio environments, through professional practice, academic settings, or a combination of both.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative academic setting.
- A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching and mentoring that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values.
