Education Program Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with all aspects of the Department of Anesthesiology and medical student training program as directed by the Vice Chair of Education, Medical Student Program Director, the Graduate Medical Education manager and Department Administrator.
• Coordinate and monitor medical student and outside rotator activities, assist with program logistics, plan and supervise scheduling of events; participate in establishing policies and implementation; monitor deadlines and requirements; oversee and ensure compliance with educational requirements and regulations; develop, determine and coordinate rotation schedules.
• Function as a resource for medical students and outside rotators; distribute, collect, summarize, and maintain evaluations via Vitals; develop survey and polls former medical students on training satisfaction using Qualtrics; verify program completion for past medical students.
• Supervise coordination of department orientation program for new medical students; assure new students receive hospital orientation.
• Assist with Continuing Medical Education certification for Department of Anesthesiology.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of the department.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
