Job DescriptionKey responsibilities of Safety and Security Operations Center Coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
Monitor security cameras, access control systems, alarms, call boxes, and other safety technology from the Security Operations Center.
Serve as the primary communication lead for campus security needs via radio, intercom, and written communication.
Dispatch and manage radio communication, ensuring timely and clear coordination across campus.
Review, document, and track all security incident reports; ensure accurate logging and dissemination to appropriate staff.
Activate emergency notification systems and coordinate communication with law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services as needed.
Serve as a liaison and emergency point of contact for public safety agencies and campus stakeholders during incidents.
Screen vendors, visitors, and zpackages in alignment with campus safety protocols.
Manage building access, including key control and issuance for staff and approved vendors.
