Student Assistant 2 – Clinton County, 4‑H/ANR

Location

OSU Extension – Clinton (1510)

Responsibilities
  • Moderate and less routine tasks requiring responsibility and good judgment. May coordinate activities for other student employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a professional environment.
  • Have previous experience and knowledge or skill in a student assistant role.
  • Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
  • Support educational programming and community engagement in Clinton County, Ohio. Work directly with Extension professionals and staff addressing community-based issues.
  • Support 4‑H Youth Development and Agriculture & Natural Resources programs designed for youth and adult audiences.
  • Assist with educational materials, conduct community-based programs, provide assistance within the office, field trials, and participate in professional and public meetings.
Position Details

38 hr./week position beginning in April and ending the first week in August. Some overtime, weeknight meetings, weekend hours, and early mornings at OSUE‑Clinton County, Wilmington, Ohio.

Hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.

Position type:
Temporary (Fixed Term).

Schedule:

10 Shift: Varying Shifts.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
