Job description:

Patriot Preparatory Academy is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and collaborative Instructional Coach to support 6-12 educators in implementing high-quality, evidence-based instruction. The Instructional Coach will serve as an instructional leader who models, supports, and enhances classroom practices to improve student outcomes. This position plays a critical role in advancing our commitment to quality instruction and fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Model effective instructional strategies in classrooms and provide side-by-side coaching and feedback to teachers.
Facilitate data analysis meetings and assist teachers in using assessment data to inform instruction and intervention.
Design and deliver ongoing professional development for K-5 educators on best practices, intervention strategies, and curriculum implementation.
Collaborate with school and district leadership teams to align initiatives with school improvement goals.
Coach and mentor teachers through lesson planning, co-teaching, and reflection cycles.
Help develop and maintain school wide literacy frameworks, resources, and schedules.
Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) by helping identify student needs and monitor intervention fidelity and progress.
Stay current on research, instructional materials, and assessment tools.

Required Qualifications:

Valid teaching license in Ohio with appropriate endorsements.
Minimum of 3-5 years of successful K-5 classroom teaching experience.
Experience working with adult learners and providing professional development or coaching.
Preferred:

Experience with a coaching model such as instructional coaching, peer coaching, or cognitive coaching.
Familiarity with assessment platforms and intervention programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and rapport with staff.
