- Assist in administering state report card, federal ESSA laws and programs, and IDEA data
- Researches, analyzes, compiles data, interprets, and completes reports for stakeholders regarding state and federal accountability system
- Contributes to the development of products and analyses such as Special Education Profiles, Special Education Ratings and State Performance Plans/Annual Performance Reports
- Establishes and maintains relationships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., participate in work groups, facilitate collaboration events, provide feedback)
- Facilitates cross-office and agency communication to ensure alignment and leveraging of resources
- Creates products, tools and methods for appropriate program implementation according to best practices and established guidelines
- Analyzes and disseminates policies, standards and business rules to internal and external stakeholders
- Determines, develops and/or provides professional development opportunities (e.g., training, workshop, conference presentations) for stakeholders
- Evaluates specialized program assistance (e.g., survey, feedback) and/or evaluates training outcomes (e.g., survey, feedback)
- Develops, presents and/or provides resources for specialized program requests (e.g., respond to communications, travel to locations to conduct site visits, training, events)
- Reviews changing state and federal laws, best practices, and educational data and research and recommends policy changes as needed to direct supervisor
Independently leads analyses concerning the Ohio School Report Card, the federal accountability system, and IDEA data
- Analyzes data utilizing statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, R) including review of data for bias and sensitivity
- Prepares statistical and narrative reports on individual schools and/or school districts (e.g., school and/or program evaluation, school improvement)
- Communicates results through data visualization (e.g., ensuring technical information is accessible to non-technical audiences/stakeholders)
- Prepares and delivers presentations to internal and external audiences
- Provides customer-focused technical assistance regarding school and district performance data and special education indicator data
- Participates in internal advisory groups to help define impact and implications of legislation on state accountability, data reporting systems, and federal special education data
- Assists in data quality assurance activities

- Serves on state-wide committees
6 years experience analyzing and interpreting data and communicating findings to inform services, outcomes, and initiatives for students.
Qualifications- Experience implementing federal and state legislation, developing reports, and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating multiple teams and projects; completing projects according to prescribed timelines.
