Clinical Cancer Genetics Counselor - Assistant Professor - Human Genetics

Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) positions within the university that are not tenure track and not eligible for tenure; on a fixed term contract. Primary duties include teaching, patient care, and translational research in the field of cancer genetics. Responsibilities involve clinical genetic services in cancer clinics, teaching genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
The role includes active engagement in teaching, mentoring, and supervising clinical rotations, and opportunities to contribute to cancer genetics research and clinical care in a collaborative environment.
Performance objectives emphasize academic clinical practice, education, and translational research in adult genetic specialties, with close collaboration with physicians and staff at our NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Additional duties may include participating in translational cancer genetics research programs and contributing to program development and clinical care initiatives.
