Experience a cutting‑edge 21st‑century curriculum and a virtual classroom environment. Travel and face‑to‑face attendance will be required several times per year to support state testing and student events.

About the Opportunity- Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas and grade levels.
- Work relentlessly to meet all goals related to student achievement, culture, and state academic accountability.
- Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference based on student need, rooted in research‑based instructional practices.
- Set up courses within the Learning Management System.
- Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback/grade assignments daily.
- Track and maintain contact with each student.
- Collaborate with the Principal to create and deliver student progress reports.
- Review student‑level data frequently to inform instructional program adjustments.
- Differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students.
- Utilize research‑based best practices in synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
- Create a joyful, caring, and loving classroom environment for all students.
- Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Implement school‑wide culture expectations and norms.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and social‑emotional growth.
- Incorporate 21st‑century technology skills.
- Participate in planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities such as social events and field trips, attending them in person.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively, humbly, and respectfully with all colleagues.
- Travel for required face‑to‑face state testing annually.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current Ohio teaching license in an appropriate content area.
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
- Preferred two years’ experience teaching.
- Comfort working in a growth‑focused coaching environment with observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes.
- Ability to supervise students in all school settings.
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
- Experience in a multi‑cultural setting preferred.

CompensationSalary range: $41,000–$50,000, adjusted for geography, skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
