DescriptionThe School Title One Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and implementing Title One programs and resources to support student achievement in a school setting. This position requires strong knowledge of Title One guidelines and regulations, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, community resources and other staff members. The School Title One Facilitator will play a crucial role in identifying students' needs, developing strategies for improvement, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Program-WideFocus
- Supports the growth and development of the department and the school’s Title I program through a high level of collaboration with all members of the department team and through a high level of focus on the needs of the individual department and program.
- Sustains the department and the school’s Title I program through a high level of support.
- Stays mindful of the larger needs of the school when making recommendations to the director of education services.
- Maintains the school’s Title I manual and ensures it is accurate, up to date, and continually referenced and used.
- Supports the tracking, monitoring, and maintenance of the Title I binder.
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of Title One programs and initiatives in alignment with federal, state, and district guidelines.
- Facilitates the analysis of assessment data, reviews student work, discusses best practices, identifies student needs, and plans differentiated instruction.
- Teaches or provides intervention plans, organizes and coordinates locally designed intervention program for at‑promise students.
- Provide direct instruction and supplementary resources to students in small group or one‑on‑one settings.
- Facilitates school intervention program.
- Conducts student evaluation activities.
- Coordinates and provides parent involvement workshop activities to support at‑promise students.
- Coordinates the identification of eligible students for Title I services.
- Keeps the director of education services informed of Title 1‑related staff performance concerns.
- Collaborates with the director of education services to set professional goals in relationship to the Title I program; develops a plan to achieve those goals and executes the plan.
- Collaborates with the director of education services on determining Title I‑related professional development needs and develops a plan to meet the needs; executes the plan.
- Leads professional development discussion regarding Title I during department meetings as needed.
- Creates and presents trainings/presentations for teachers that support and align with the needs/plan relating to the Title I program.
- Writes Title I related regional meeting agenda contributions.
- Provides teachers with instructional support and resources for scholar success.
- Conducts demonstration lessons and peer coaching to improve instruction for at‑promise students.
- Provides professional development to all stakeholders on effective instructional strategies.
- Selects the most effective means of Title I communication depending upon the situation and develops the department.
- Notices Title I program needs and shares those needs along with creative solutions with the director of education services.
- Executes Title 1, school, and department policies and procedures.
- Conducts program evaluation activities appropriate technology into existing curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certificate and/or certification as a Title One Facilitator.
- Strong understanding of Title One guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with students from diverse backgrounds and varying academic needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other stakeholders.
