Position: Building Educational Attendant – Bailey ES (25-26 School Year)
Job Status: FLSA Overtime Eligible
Reports To: Building Principal
Department: Academics and Student Learning
Pay Range: Two (2)
Position SummaryTo provide supervision of students during lunch and recess periods and support to teaching staff.
Qualifications- A high school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
- Interest in children and education.
- Any other qualifications deemed appropriate by the Board of Education.
- Monitor students during non-classroom activities such as lunch and playground.
- Communicate with the principal and teachers regarding students.
- Maintain a safe educational environment.
- Mediates student disputes and refers issues to administration as needed.
- Build positive relationships with students and implement behavior management strategies.
- Maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Ensure student safety and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
187 days (including 178 days aligned with student schedule, 1 professional development day, 8 paid holidays); 3 hours per day excluding lunch. Salary as per Negotiated Agreement. Work year to be established by the Board.
Salary$17.75/hr - $19.55/hr
