The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a semester lecturer to teach First-Year English Composition courses in Spring 2026. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Performance ObjectivesTeaching:
Develop and deliver in-person courses. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
- Master’s degree required in English or related area
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level. PH.D. in English or related area.

The College The Ohio State University at Newark offered its first classes in 1957 with a mission to provide affordable, open access to Ohio State for all Ohioans.
