Overview
The General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning specialist for a full-time position. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience who are interested in resident education, research, and direct patient care within a faculty practice. Provision of obstetric care is optional.
Responsibilities- Supervise resident continuity clinics and a dedicated resident family planning rotation
- Supervise the gynecology teaching service and in-hospital gynecologic consultation
- Participate in medical student education
- Engage in resident education, research, and clinical care within a faculty practice
- Collaborate with other division members across areas such as minimally invasive surgery, vulvar disease, menopause, gender-affirming care, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program
- Ability to be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio
- Current DEA registration
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience
