Job Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Youngstown, Ohio . The provider will support inpatient EP services and cover 24-hour on-call responsibilities in a busy cardiology department.
This role offers a collaborative environment with a large cardiology group and APP support.

Assignment Details
Schedule:
Day shift (8 hours)
Call Requirement: 24-hour on-call coverage
Weekend Requirements: As needed
Practice Setting: Inpatient + call
Reason for Coverage: Change in FTE
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 120 days
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide electrophysiology inpatient care
Cover 24-hour on-call with a 1:4 call ratio
Manage an average of 20 clinic patients per day
Handle approximately 11 inpatient admissions per day
Supervise 1 APP
Perform required EP procedures and non-invasive testing
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
Required Procedures / Skills
Electrical cardioversions
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Tilt table tests
All electrophysiology procedures

Cardiology Group: 20 physicians

Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Active Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain)
BLS and ACLS certification
NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation
