Locum Jobs Online  is working with Curative to find a qualified Maternal-Fetal Medicine MD in Akron, Ohio, 44308!

Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Locums in Ohio - 1 Week Per Month

Consult-only MFM assignment in Akron with flexible monthly blocks, no deliveries, and remote call option.

Highlights

  • One week per month - you pick the week
  • Remote call optional - phone consults only
  • No deliveries, no primary OB
  • Long-term assignment through summer 2026

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient consultative MFM clinic
  • Supports a Level III hospital with 3,000+ deliveries/year
  • Team includes 6 MFMs, 4 APPs, OBs, and behavioral health
  • Academic appointment available

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8a to 4p
  • Call is fully remote and not required (1:3, moving to 1:4)
  • Block scheduling available

Cases and Procedures

  • High-risk OB: diabetes, reproductive genetics
  • Amniocentesis, CVS, umbilical cord sampling
  • Strictly consult and co-management

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Maternal and Fetal Medicine
  • Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
  • BLS, DEA, NRP, and PALS required

Travel Accommodations

  • Lodging and mileage covered for regional candidates
  • Flights not included
