Location: Columbus, Ohio
Department: Neurology, under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Segal, MD, Chair

The Department of Neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) is actively seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurohospitalists to join our esteemed team of general and specialty neurologists.

Position Overview

  • Manage inpatients with neurological disorders across various hospital units, including the emergency department and intensive care units.
  • Provide consultative expertise on neurological injury across diverse medical services.
  • Participate in our expanding Teleneurology Program, delivering neurology expertise to community hospitals via telemedicine.
  • Academic rank and track will be determined by the applicant's academic record and experience.

Department Highlights

  • Structure: 15 divisions, 63 physicians, 5 psychologists, 12 research faculty, 24 residents, and 14 fellows.
  • Facilities: 7 ambulatory centers, 3 hospitals, 27 multidisciplinary clinics, 18-bed neurocritical care unit, 30-bed stroke ward.
  • Teleneurology Network: Among the nations largest, partnering with 32 affiliated hospitals.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: MD or DO
  • Residency: Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency Program
  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Licensure: Eligibility for an Ohio Medical License
