Overview
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a clinical psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesFaculty responsibilities are consistent with the tripartite mission of patient care, education, and clinical research. The psychiatrist will contribute to training, research, and scholarly activities, and may participate in committees, conferences, and professional meetings. Practice within established Medical Center standards and policies, and align with key results areas of the Medical Center. The department supports inpatient and ambulatory psychiatry, student mental health, neuromodulation (ECT, TMS), consult-liaison, addiction psychiatry/addiction medicine, neuropsychiatry, women’s behavioral health, and crisis psychiatry.
Department/DivisionOverview
The successful candidate will join a large, growing Section of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. Harding Hospital features 84 inpatient adult psychiatric beds; our psychiatric emergency service handles thousands of consults annually. We offer partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs, with expansion plans and suburban sites. Our residency program includes general psychiatry residents and fellowships in child psychiatry, addiction medicine, forensic psychiatry, and consult-liaison psychiatry.

- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program or Addiction Medicine Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
