Overview

Ohio Health is excited to announce an opening for a System Lead Physician of Urgent Care to support and lead our growing urgent care network across the system. This unique opportunity allows the hired physician to play a key leadership role while continuing to deliver hands-on clinical care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

• Serve as the physician leader across our expanding urgent care program.
• Provide oversight and support to site physicians throughout the network.
• Be an immediate clinical resource to providers during operational hours.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of urgent care policies and procedures.
• Oversee the engagement and management of moonlighters, contingent staff, residents, and medical students.
• Work in a collaborative environment supported by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, and clinical staff.
• Maintain a 20% administrative / 80% clinical work balance.

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or IM/Peds.
• Prior experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings.
• Previous leadership experience is strongly preferred.
