Rank & Salary

This appointment may be at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Rank and salary will be determined by your academic credentials and experience.

Areas of Clinical Expertise

Contact lenses, binocular vision, pediatrics, vision rehabilitation, primary care, outreach, and diagnoses/treatment of ocular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and supervise students across all optometry courses.
  • Provide clinical care to patients as a practitioner.
  • Engage in scholarly activity related to your clinical focus.
  • Participate in faculty service and campus service.
Performance Objectives
  • Excellence in clinical and didactic teaching.
  • Excellence in scholarship.
  • Excellence in service and/or leadership.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • OD (or equivalent) degree, eligibility for Ohio Optometric licensure.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program or equivalent experience.
