Position: Physician - Department of Radiology, Interventional Radiologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an Interventional Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Interventional Medicine who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students.

Department/Division

Overview

The Department of Radiology is rapidly growing, with expanded services at off-site imaging centers, and renovations to our existing clinical spaces and new spaces through the medical center strategic expansion project ($3+ Billion).

  • Main campus:
    New construction of a state-of-the-art 830-bed hospital tower, a biomedical research tower, and a Health Sciences building that will house the College of Medicine.
  • Around the city:
    Construction of 2 newly designed ambulatory care centers in New Albany and Dublin now completed and open in addition to 16 established ambulatory care centers up and running today.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
  • Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Interventional Radiology Division of the Department of Radiology, including providing high-quality patient care and contributing to clinical and imaging operations.
  • Education, Training, and Faculty Development, including conducting and providing clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, collaborating with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities, and serving as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
  • Research and Scholarship, including supporting clinical and translational research activities and innovation, serving as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials, and serving on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department.
Job Requirements
  • M.D., or D.O., in imaging and/or imaging-related fields.
  • Board certification in Radiology (A , AO ).
  • Subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Radiology, or equivalent experience.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
