Physician - OBGyn, Gynecologic Oncologist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, is recruiting a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The division comprises eight gynecologic oncologists, five scientists, and supports six gynecologic oncology fellows per year in a three-year fellowship program. We have close ties with genetic counselors and specialist pharmacists embedded in our clinic practices.
We also have a large number of nurse practitioners, discharge planning, care coordination, and social work staff who facilitate patient flow and quality care. We have a robust clinical research infrastructure involved in investigator-initiated, pharma, and NCI-based clinical trials.
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center provide extensive clinical care and research opportunities across multiple departments and specialties. The college has more than 5,000 learners, multiple clinical and basic science departments, and a strong focus on education, discovery, and community impact.
Requirements- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, patient-centered care, and collaboration
- Qualify for academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience

- Clinical faculty define roles focused on clinical care with possible teaching and/or research; tenure not offered; standard appointment terms apply.
- Tenure-track faculty focus on research, service, and teaching, with potential for tenure; involvement in clinical care may occur for MD or MD/PhD holders.
