Wound care providers are sought to join a team serving long-term care facilities in the Columbus, OH area. Position highlights include flexible scheduling with part-time and potential for full-time work, on-site rounding, and dedicated support to allow providers to focus on patient care. Malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement are provided.
Responsibilities- Round weekly at assigned facilities within the territory.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
- Perform medical procedures as necessary (e.g., debridement).
- Communicate and collaborate with facility clinical staff on findings and treatments.
- Educate patients about diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Document each patient encounter in the EMR (APRIMA) and maintain patient records on company devices.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
- APRN or PA-C certification.
- Two years of experience as a solo practitioner preferred.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver license.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with facility staff and patients.
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and attention to detail.
- Employment type:
Full-time or Part-time (2-3 days/week, with potential to grow to 4-5 days/week). - Weekly hours:
Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with flexible start times; no evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements. - Uncapped W-2 earning potential, with projected annual earnings of $175k-$195k for full-time providers.
- Instruments provided (e.g., debridement kits); company laptop; EMR: APRIMA.
- Malpractice coverage provided; mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines.
