Position: Project Architect III (Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time)

As a Project Architect III at AECOM’s Columbus office, you’ll support a collaborative studio‑based team of architects, designers, and engineers on a variety of construction projects. The role offers hands‑on project experience, mentorship, and growth opportunities within a global infrastructure leader.

• Support project teams through all phases of design, documentation, and construction
• Assist with developing drawings, models, and presentations using Revit and other BIM tools
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines under the guidance of senior staff
• Help incorporate design ideas and technical requirements into project deliverables
• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and client presentations
• Develop design concepts and prepare design and contract drawings
• Coordinate design efforts of consultants and project team members
• Assist with the management and mentoring of less‑experienced team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
• Licensed as a registered architect or advanced steps toward licensure, preferably in Ohio
• Knowledge of building systems and materials
• Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills in Sketch Up and/or Rhino
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design
• Ability to produce design‑intent renderings and concept diagrams

• LEED Accredited Professional certification
• A collaborative, open‑office work style
• Diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Relocation not available for this position
• Occasional travel required
• No sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation: USD 77,000 – USD 107,000 per year (based on experience and education)
