Overview
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a dynamic and accomplished researcher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will have a robust track record in cardiovascular research. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at understanding and treating cardiovascular diseases, leveraging state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to driving forward innovative research initiatives that can translate into clinical practice.
Responsibilities- Write and publish research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals; attend and present at national and international conferences; develop a national and international scholarly reputation.
- Instruct and mentor junior scientists, doctoral and postdoctoral students, medical students, residents and fellow trainees; participate in department, college and university committees and initiatives.
- Conceptualize, plan, design, implement and conduct research studies in cardiovascular medicine; develop and write grant proposals to obtain funding to support the research program; obtain and maintain NIH RO1 or equivalent funding.
