Dispatcher

Campus Parc at The Ohio State University (OSU)

1560 North High St, Columbus, Ohio 43210

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Part-time – Saturdays & Sundays, 2 pm – 10 pm

Providing a warm welcome and delivering memorable, excellent service, you will be the first and last impression with our client’s customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct the activities of frontline staff.
  • Coordinate internal departments (maintenance, enforcement, operations, and events) to create and maximize productivity, efficiency, and responsiveness to all customer service issues within the parking system.
  • Ensure maximum productivity by successfully routing Campus Parc staff to designated locations on campus.
  • Track operational issues/concerns using a Customer Relations Management System.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, customers, and employees.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Other special projects as assigned by location management.
Minimum Job Qualifications
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years in a Dispatcher role.
  • Parking and/or university operations experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience with use of a large phone system.
  • Knowledge of The Ohio State University campus a plus.
  • Knowledge of TIBA software preferred.
Skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Strong computer skills (ability to operate specific software programs) and handheld devices.
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑faced work environment.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Physical Demands:
The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk, and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs.
