I opened my agency in June 2020 and today I lead a passionate team of five. Before launching my own office, I worked at State Farm Corporate as a New Agent Specialist where I coached and supported new agents. Insurance runs deep in my family – I’m a proud third‑generation State Farm agent continuing a legacy that started with my father.

Our office is located in my family’s very first home, making what we do even more meaningful. We value work‑life balance, flexible scheduling, and community involvement through events like Dog Fridays and Worthington Partnership Sunday Funday.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist – State Farm Agent Team Member. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, you will become a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customer needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
