Senior Project Superintendent
Ohio or Northern Ohio | Travel Required | Full-Time
Company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Superintendent to lead field operations across multi-family, commercial, and/or K–12 construction projects throughout Ohio. This role serves as the company’s on‑site leader with full responsibility for daily coordination, safety, schedule execution, cost control, quality standards, and client satisfaction. The Superintendent partners closely with the Project Manager, focusing on daily and short‑range field direction to ensure successful project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreconstruction Phase
- Assist with development of schedule, phasing, and site logistics
- Support constructability reviews
- Assist in development of bid packages and scopes of work
- Support subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Lead and coordinate all day-to-day field operations
- Manage subcontractors and enforce contract compliance
- Implement and maintain project schedule
- Monitor cost control and mitigate project risk
- Ensure quality control program execution, including punch list completion
- Proactively resolve field issues
- Produce daily reports and collect subcontractor reports
- Lead Foreman meetings and participate in OAC meetings
- Maintain proper project documentation and as‑built drawings
- Manage permits, inspections, and code compliance
- Enforce all safety policies and jobsite security standards
- Understand and uphold owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Train, mentor, and develop Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents
- Participate in RFQ/RFP responses as needed
- Participate in project interviews
- Assist in identifying and developing future project opportunities
- Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent in one or more of the following markets:
- Multi-family housing
- Commercial construction
- K–12 construction
- Strong subcontractor management and field leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, safety, and quality in complex construction environments
- Ability to travel within Ohio
