Project Superintendent
Ohio | Travel Required | Full-Time
Company is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead and direct field operations across commercial, multi‑family, and/or K–12 construction projects throughout Ohio.
This role serves as the company’s on‑site representative with full responsibility for daily coordination, safety, schedule adherence, budget performance, quality control, and client satisfaction. The Superintendent partners closely with the Project Manager, focusing primarily on day‑to‑day field leadership and short‑range execution.
Key Responsibilities Preconstruction Phase- Assist in development of project schedule, phasing, and logistics plans
- Support constructability reviews
- Assist with development of bid packages and scopes of work
- Support subcontractor and supplier procurement
- Lead and coordinate daily field activities
- Manage subcontractors and enforce contract compliance
- Implement and maintain project schedule
- Oversee cost control and risk mitigation
- Ensure quality control program execution, including punch list management
- Resolve field issues proactively
- Produce daily reports and collect subcontractor reports
- Lead Foreman meetings and participate in OAC meetings
- Maintain accurate project documentation and as‑built drawings
- Manage permits, inspections, and code compliance
- Enforce all safety policies and jobsite security requirements
- Train and mentor Field Engineers and Assistant Superintendents
- Participate in RFQ/RFP responses and project interviews as needed
- Assist in identifying and developing future project opportunities
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in one or more of the following markets:
- Multi‑family housing
- Commercial construction
- K–12 construction
- Strong subcontractor management and field leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, quality, and jobsite safety
- Ability to travel within Ohio
