Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Currie & Brown is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and delivery of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects. This role provides a great opportunity to work alongside senior project managers, gain hands‑on experience, and contribute to the successful execution of client objectives.

• Assist in managing project scope, schedule, budget, and quality from initiation through to completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
• Support project reporting, meeting minutes, and status updates for internal and client review.
• Track progress against project plans and flag potential issues or delays.
• Help manage procurement processes, contract documentation, and tender evaluations.
• Participate in design coordination, construction meetings, and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on projects.
• Support the change management process and maintain proper project documentation.
• Work closely with the cost management and design teams for integrated project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the construction or consultancy industry.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Knowledge of contract administration and project delivery frameworks is an advantage.
