Job Title: Superintendent
Department: Operations

Setterlin Building Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and coordinate field operations for commercial construction projects throughout Central and Southern Ohio. This role is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through final completion
• Serve as the primary onsite representative for Setterlin
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance; conduct toolbox talks and job hazard analyses
• Monitor daily progress and collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain schedules
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation including daily logs, RFIs, field orders, and drawings
• Perform quality inspections and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and contract requirements
• Assist with project closeout, punch lists, inspections, and owner training
• Support cost control efforts including labor tracking, timesheets, and material usage

• 3–7+ years of experience in a Superintendent or field leadership role
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) is a plus

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain, climb ladders/scaffolding, and operate equipment
• Willingness to travel between project sites throughout Central and Southern Ohio
