Location: Columbus, OH
Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 base + annual bonus + profit sharing + full benefits
The Opportunity
Our client is a highly respected, General Contractor/Construction Manager headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, with a strong local backlog and a reputation for developing talent from within. They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support multiple active projects and serve as a key connector between the field and project management teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer who has been exposed to commercial projects in the $5M–$25M range and is looking to take on increased responsibility, visibility, and long-term growth within a stable organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams across multiple active projects simultaneously
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and document control
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Track schedules, procurement logs, and project documentation
- Support cost tracking, change management, and closeout activities
- Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication between field and office teams
Ideal Background
- 2-4+ years of experience with a General Contractor or CM
- Experience supporting projects in the $5M–$25M range
- Comfortable handling multiple projects at once
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software a plus
