Job Description:
Our client, a leading national general contractor with over 70 years of excellence in the industry, is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, ensuring successful project delivery from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and on-site personnel, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient resource allocation.
- Quality Control: Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement of materials and services.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to foster and maintain positive client relationships.
