We are seeking someone who is reliable with a passion for working with children to join us as an Assistant Infant Teacher. As an Assistant Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in your care. Duties
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Prepare meals and snacks for children
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Administer medication or follow specific medical instructions, if necessary
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
  • Ensure children adhere to established routines and schedules
  • Provide transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, or appointments, if required
  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and washing dishes
Skills
  • Experience working with children of all ages
  • Experience working with children at the same time. ( ages range from infant- school age.)
  • Experience with children with special needs ( non-verbal/ autism spectrum)
  • Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and nannying best practices
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
  • Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
