Communications and Change Management Analyst Contract-to-Hire Columbus, OH Brief Description
The Communications and Change Management Analyst is responsible for supporting and contributing to strategic, data-related communications, literacy, and change management initiatives.
Detailed DescriptionThis role is an entry level position requiring the individual to be driven, well-organized and curious. They must be self-motivated and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The team will look to this individual to have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in evolving Huntington’s data culture and strengthening our ability to manage data quality and regulatory risk, better exploit analytics, and improve collaboration.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of ongoing communication plans for Enterprise Data enabling the ability to “tell the story” with data.
- Assist in leveraging internal communications templates, materials, and channels for strategic collateral.
- Contribute to and maintain presentations and other communication vehicles supporting data strategy and literacy programs.
- Assist in the creation of training and change management plans
- Assist in driving the usage of technology for creative execution of initiatives.
- Learn to apply a structured methodology to change management activities.
- Assist in assessing change impact and work with sponsors to help manage resistance, while identifying, analyzing, and preparing risk mitigation tactics.
- Assist in the creation of deliverables for communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
- Learn to integrate change management activities into project plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a business, data, or educational role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships, or work experience in lieu of participation in the Elevate Program.
- Basic understanding of data management, data quality, and/or data governance.
- Familiarity with data and analytics terminology.
- Ability to successfully partner stakeholders in various parts of the organization and achieve successful outcomes.
- Basic understanding of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong aptitude with demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn business and technology processes and solutions.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively, meet deadlines and stay organized with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and stakeholders when sharing updates and presenting work in team settings.
- Demonstrates basic active listening skills, paraphrases or summarizes key points from conversations, and asks clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Listens without interrupting and shows respect for others' viewpoints.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Actively participates in team activities, supports shared goals, and contributes to a positive team dynamic.
- Able to communicate needs effectively and work toward mutually beneficial outcomes in team discussions and task planning.

- Understanding of change management purpose and approach.
- Experience with or understanding of learning and development approaches and tools
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
