Senior Business Analyst

Work Authorization - US Citizen or Green Card Only Location - Columbus, OH

Com Resource is seeking a senior-level Business Analyst who is comfortable operating independently within a regulated banking environment. This role is highly stakeholder-facing and requires someone who can quickly build trust with business leaders, facilitate structured discovery sessions, and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable documentation.

Hybrid presence is required, with in-office participation as needed for workshops and key stakeholder sessions.

We are evaluating an upgrade or replacement of our enterprise phone system. The Business Analyst will:

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and cross-functional workshops
• Document current-state usage, workflows, and pain points
• Identify functional and non-functional requirements
• Capture compliance, call recording, and retention considerations
• Produce consolidated requirements documentation and gap analysis to support vendor evaluation

This initiative requires strong facilitation skills and the ability to synthesize diverse business and technical inputs into clear, structured requirements.

We are sun setting our Expedient-hosted file server and migrating to a new solution. The Business Analyst will:

• Engage business users leveraging the current file server
• Document workflows, dependencies, shared drives, and data flows
• Identify business continuity risks and operational impacts
• Define future-state requirements and transition needs

  Experience with infrastructure or data migration initiatives is highly preferred.

  Identity Access Management (IAM) Initiative

  As part of strengthening Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes, we are formalizing application role definitions. The Business Analyst will:

  • Work with application owners and business leads to define roles and permissions
  • Document access models and entitlement structures
  • Rationalize and standardize role definitions
  • Map roles to JML workflows
  • Support audit and compliance-aligned control documentation

  IAM, access governance, or regulated industry experience is strongly preferred.

  Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated environments (regional banking a plus)
  • Proven ability to document requirements, process flows, and control considerations
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent work streams independently
  • Comfortable working directly with senior business leaders across IT domains
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, evolving environment
