The business is now hiring two commercial lawyers (ideally 4–10 years’ PQE) to join its high‑performing in‑house legal team, supporting strategically critical areas of growth and working on high‑impact, global financial technology solutions, including consumer‑facing checkout services.

This role sits at the heart of the company’s technology and operational platform. You will advise on large‑scale contracts with high‑profile counter parties
, including third‑party vendors, cloud, SaaS, IT service providers and outsourcing partners. The work covers IT transactions, emerging technologies and AI‑enabled solutions, and requires comfort negotiating and structuring complex arrangements that are critical to scaling the business.

You will work closely with procurement, product, engineering and operations teams, helping shape how the business scales responsibly within a regulated environment. Experience in financial services or fintech is highly desirable. Familiarity with privacy matters — including GDPR, GLBA, and CCPA/CPRA — is a strong advantage.

This is a highly commercial, externally facing role supporting global merchant and partner relationships. You will lead on negotiating and structuring high‑value commercial agreements with retailers, acquirers and other international counter parties, working closely with go‑to‑market, commercial and procurement teams to bring consumer‑facing products to market at scale.

The role requires experience across both procurement and sales contracting, a strong understanding of how partnerships are built and maintained, and the ability to balance commercial ambition with legal risk.
Consumer‑facing experience is essential
, given the nature of the products. Privacy and data protection experience, including GDPR and other international frameworks, is highly valued.

Both roles require a strong commercial legal background and experience operating at the intersection of financial services and technology
, ideally having trained at a leading law firm before moving in‑house or into a fintech / regulated tech environment. Candidates should have ideally 4–10 years’ PQE and a proven track record of managing complex, multi‑jurisdictional contracts with high‑profile counter parties

• Proven commercial judgement and pragmatic, solutions‑focused approach
• Experience with procurement and/or sales contracting (depending on the role)
• Exposure to consumer‑facing products and services
• Experience negotiating large‑scale agreements with third‑party vendors, acquirers, retailers and IT/technology providers
• Understanding of privacy and data governance frameworks (GDPR, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA)
• Ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally
