Job Summary

The Acquisition Program Management Strategist will support cross-functional efforts to orchestrate and influence acquisition performance across channels, products, and partnerships. In support of project sponsors, the individual will coordinate cross-functional teams to drive growth, reduce business risk, and ensure close coordination across all Bread stakeholder teams. The Strategist will lead the regulatory Business Risk process for all Acquisition-related matters, managing the entire issue lifecycle to achieve issue resolution.

The Strategist will also lead, as appropriate, acquisition performance reporting and management to provide visibility on account acquisition trends and opportunities, and proactively support cross-functional teams to implement new growth initiatives.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead regulatory Business Risk for acquisitions as the main delegate. Manage issue life cycles, define requirements, and escalate or reprioritize as necessary. Analyze each case, plan solutions, and propose alternatives for effective resolution. Hold regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment and progress - (40%)
  • Support the Product Operating Model as a Business Functional Leader, ensuring product and technology resources for the Apply and Buy Value Stream are aligned with Bread’s strategic objectives. Contribute to business case development and support business requirements for growth initiatives.

  • Monitor acquisition performance to identify trends across partners, products, and channels. Develop reports and performance insights for leadership and cross-functional teams as needed. Proactively identify and pursue new initiatives to drive efficiencies and achieve new account targets - (20%)
  • Coordinate leadership materials to provide clear visibility into acquisition trends, opportunities, and progress toward organizational goals.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to influence and optimize acquisition efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of financial services experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field of study
  • 8+ years experience in credit card product management and marketing

Work Environment
  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a Bread Financial location.
Travel
  • Ability to travel up to 5% annually
