Managing Director Investment Banking

We are partnering with a well-established, client-focused advisory firm that is looking to add a Managing Director to its Business Succession Services team. This role will lead engagements for business owners evaluating succession, M&A, divestitures, and liquidity events while building long-term client relationships.

• Lead and advise clients on business succession, M&A, and divestiture strategies
• Analyze opportunities through financial modeling, valuation, and business profiling
• Develop and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and proposals
• Originate new client relationships and manage a CRM-driven pipeline
• Structure and negotiate engagement letters and fee arrangements
• Oversee due diligence and execution for active transactions
• Manage transaction pipeline and timelines from origination to close
• Mentor and develop junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality client delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 5+ years of investment banking experience (required)
• Experience leading or co-leading M&A transactions (sell-side strongly preferred)
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and accounting knowledge
• Proven client-facing advisory experience with business owners or executives
• Experience originating or supporting business development initiatives
• Ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and own outcomes
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
