Procurement Manager – Direct Materials (Finished Goods)

Location: Hybrid | Onsite 4 days per week

We’re seeking a thoughtful and collaborative Procurement Manager to lead our direct materials and finished goods sourcing function. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent product availability, building trusted supplier partnerships, and driving procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency, quality, and innovation.

The Procurement Manager will guide a team of buyers in managing supplier relationships, executing sourcing strategies, and supporting new product launches. Success in this position requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, a passion for developing people, and the ability to work cross‑functionally to achieve shared business goals.

• Supplier Relationship Management:
  Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities for finished goods categories, ensuring consistent supply, competitive pricing, and long‑term value creation.
• Category Strategy & Execution:
  Develop and implement sourcing strategies based on market insights, spend analysis, and production requirements to optimize cost, service, and performance.
• Team Leadership:
  Provide direction, coaching, and development to a team of procurement professionals. Foster an inclusive, growth‑oriented culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

  Collaboration:
  
  Partner closely with planning, operations, and product teams to ensure material availability supports production timelines and new product introductions.
• Negotiation & Contracting:
  Manage supplier negotiations, RFPs, and contract execution to achieve favorable terms and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiency, and supplier performance enhancement through proactive analysis and communication.
• Global Sourcing Awareness:
  Stay informed of global market trends and supply conditions to anticipate challenges and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Finance preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in direct procurement, purchasing, or sourcing finished goods or materials.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience required.
  
  Strong background in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Experience collaborating across functional teams in fast‑paced, multi‑site environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on partnership and collaboration.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and financial acumen.
• Global sourcing experience preferred.

Additional benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage as well as a target compensation of $130,000 base with a 12% bonus.
