We want to hear from you! Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Workers’ Compensation department and help keep our claims operations running smoothly.
This is a hybrid position, and applicants must be located in Columbus, Ohio, to be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Assist claims teams with daily administrative tasks, assignments, and deadline‑driven work.
- Update and maintain claim files across workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability lines.
- Calculate indemnity benefits for workers’ compensation claims.
- Process, request, and document payments in the claims system.
- Communicate with branch locations to gather information or relay updates.
- Review, scan, and distribute incoming mail.
Ideal Candidate: You’re dependable, organized, comfortable working with data, and ready to grow your skills in a fast‑paced claims environment.
Qualifications- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Detail oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to complete assignments within the dictated deadlines.
- Ability to perform in a team environment.
- Capable of working in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to multitask.
This position is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged sitting, use of a computer and phone, and repetitive hand movements. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light office materials may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
